What to do if I cannot log in?

If you try to log in to Excel 365 Connector using Jira Server/ Data Center, but there is no response from application, please check our logs: How to get Excel 365 Connector logs. If you encounter 503 Error in logs, it may be due to two main reasons:

• Invalid certificates on a Jira instance

Your Jira instance could have a problem with Java machine’s certificates, causing the Excel 365 Connector to be unable to connect to Jira and return 503 error. Contact your Jira Administrator to resolve this issue.

• Firewall blocking the requests

Another possibility for this type of error may be firewall/ proxy blocking our add-in requests. Our add-in in Excel during log in sends requests in Jira using [server]:[port] format, which is not always allowed behavior for the firewall. Try to enable it and see if the problem still occurs.
