The Excel 365 Connector for Jira app is not installed on this Jira instance error

Question: I get “The Excel 365 Connector for Jira app is not installed on this Jira instance” error

Answer: Make sure if you have installed Excel 365 Connector for Jira on both sides Jira and Excel, moreover make sure if you install proper version of it since we have Excel 365 Connector for Jira and Excel Connector. Both sides needs to be installed Excel 365 Connector for Jira or both sides Excel Connector. You can not mix them.

We have two similar apps Excel 365 Connector for Jira and Excel Connector, however we strongly recommend using Excel 365 Connector for Jira since it is our newest product and will be supported in the future.
