Question: Jira Installation without whitelisting external domain

Answer: Whitelisting domain is necessary for CORS (Cross-origin resource sharing), Excel 365 is actually web application written in JavaScript ecosystem and under the hood it uses web browser engine (embedded by Microsoft into their 365 products) to render and operate correctly on Excel 365 instance.

Without whitelisting our app - Jira will just block any requests made by app driven by this aforementioned web
