User roles and permissions in Jira and its representation in Excel Connector [3.5.x]

Excel Connector mirrors Jira's users rights and permissions. If you log in as user with full rights like Jira administrator, you are able to edit all of the fields present in Excel Connector, just as in Jira while being logged in there with the same user. It's illustrated in the example below.

Administrator has full edit rights to all fields.

Take a look at fields Reporter, Assignee and Priority of issue DEC-3 on above and below images.

I've changed "Issue Type" value and added a label, using my Jira administrator account while being logged in to Excel Connector and uploaded it to Jira (below):

After successful update operation, color of the changed cells goes back to the default one (below):

All of the new values are now present in Jira's issue as well:

In regards to users with no rights for changing values of particular fields

Above example was presented for user with full access rights (administrator rank). Excel Connector however enables to be used by any user - only an access to particular application (i.e. Jira Software) is required.

If a user without permissions to edit e.g. Reporter field, logs into Jira and tries to change it, then he or she will be unable to do so. It'll be impossible to do so in Excel as well. After editing the mentioned field in Excel Connector and pressing "Send Issue to JIRA" the value will revert to an original one, or "Nothing to send" prompt will be present (if user edited only fields that he/she doesn't have rights to change at all).

Moreover after changing value of a field to which user doesn't have an edit permission, field's background color remains default (it doesn't change color to an orange one).
