Starting with empty worksheet [3.5.x]

  •

    • Start MS Excel and create blank workbook

    • Open Excel Connector for JIRA ribbon (1), click Login to JIRA button (2)

    • Enter your credentials and click Connect button (3).

There's no need to use administrator account when working with Excel Connector.

  • Notice that the ribbon has expanded and the worksheet contents have changed. You are now logged into JIRA and ready to do some work.

While using Excel Connector 3.3.x you can be logged in only in one worksheet at the same time. If you would like to work with several sheets you may edit them offline. When your work is done just log out from other sheet and log in on the one you would like to send to JIRA. If you are logged in on one sheet, you will be warned while trying to log in on another.

When 3rd row is visible, you can see that it also contains custom fields' ID numbers:

Data placed in it is strictly tied with Jira elements and is crucial to successful work of the add-in.
