How to add notifications for Substitute

step-by-step:

  1. Go to "Issues" in Jira Administrator Menu

  2. Go to "Notification Schemes"

  3. Click "Notifications" in Vacation Manager project

  4. Go to "Add" in chosen event (e.g. Issue Resolved)

  5. Select "User Custom Field Value" checkbox and select "Substitute"

     

  6. Save changes

  7. Go to "Issue Security Schemes" (above "Notification Schemes")

  8. Click "Security levels" in Vacation Manager project

  9. Click "Add" in default Vacation Manager plugin Security Scheme

  10. Select "User Custom Field Value" checkbox and select "Substitute"

     

  11. Save changes

 

Use wisely: Following these changes, the person added as a Substitute will see all details of this vacation document - e.g. attachments, comments ect.
