Due to recent changes related to Server licenses we are getting more questions like:

“Will there be a version of Vacation Manager for the Cloud version of Jira?”

We have some plans to make Cloud version of Vacation Manager - but not everything is possible yet for cloud apps. There are some challenges and there is a blocker: missing API for creation / edition of workflows.

We are considering some alternative ways like workflow import, but we still need to do some research in this matter. Most probably at some point, we will make a Survey for our customers to see the scale of migration.

Oct 31, 2023 We would like to inform you that the early release of the Vacation Manager Cloud is planned for Q2 2024

Jan 13, 2023 We plan to deliver an early release of Vacation Manager Cloud in Q3 2023.

Apr 11, 2022 From our internal planning, we are targeting late Q4.2022 for an initial release of Vacation Manager for Jira Cloud.

This not a deadline, but only orientation period and it might change.

Alternative: Absence Tracker

In the meantime, we made a bit simpler app, build on top of new Forge framework provided by Atlassian.
