Dear Customer. This page provides the reasoning behind sunsetting our App - Email Task as well as explaining further steps.

Basically this App is an example of missed opportunity - had a great potential at the beginning but world moved forward and our competitors made greater improvements leaving us behind. Not enough effort was put into this product hence - we’ve decided to retire it completely not to waste resources for a lost cause.

What is the timeline?

  • The last Jira Server version supported will be 8.22.6.

  • We will not run compatibility checks for Jira 9 and newer so it might be impossible to use Admin Tools for JIRA with these versions of Jira.

  • We will not support Jira 9 or newer.

  • Email Task will be removed from public 3 months after this announcement (no new licenses could be sold after this date) - that would be Mar 31, 2023

    • existing licenses will remain operational but no bug-fixes nor compatibility update will be delivered

I just bought Email Task license recently - what do I do?

If your license expires after Mar 31, 2023 , please contact us through our Support Portal for a compensation. It will be calculated proportionally to the number of months not covered by Email Task maintenance and overall license duration.
