Be Advised:
- Since Jira 7.2.0 there is no possibility to export issues to Excel. For more information please check here. This happened in response to a Microsoft Security update that stopped Excel files from opening correctly.
- There is a workaround, so this feature can be again turned on, however it is highly unrecommended.
The below manual is valid only for Project Management Software, till the 7.1.9 version.
- First, generate an Excel workbook using JIRA Issue Navigator
- Open the downloaded file using MS Excel
Navigate to Excel Connector for JIRA ribbon (1) and click Login to JIRA button and enter your credentials. Click Connect (2) and then OK on Confirmation dialog.
Important! When asked if you want to replace the file, make sure to click Yes
Excel sheet generated from JIRA will be replaced with sheet generated by Excel Connector, preserving all the issues from the original sheet
