Creating a new Scheduled Issue there is an option to add scheduled issues to currently Active Sprint.
You can set it up in the 2nd step of the wizard, instead of fixed Scheduled Issue Wizard. Instead of Fixed sprint choose Active Sprint.

It Issue will not workbe added to active sprint, if the parallel sprints feature is turned on and when there are multiple active sprints in board. If there is no active sprint, the creation of SI will also fail.
