Creating a new Scheduled Issue there is an option to add scheduled issue= s to currently Active Sprint.
You can set it up in the 2nd step of the Scheduled Issue Wizard. Instead= of Fixed sprint choose Active Sprint.
Here is an example of Active sprint and pending scheduled issue:
When trigger is fired and issue is created it is automatically added to = active sprint:
In case there is no Active Sprint, issue will be added to the backlog:
When the sprint start, new issue will be added to it:
Issue will not be added to active sprint, if the parallel sprints featur= e is turned on and when there are multiple active sprints in board. If ther= e is no active sprint, the creation of SI will also fail.
