It is also one of new types of leave. Here, user is able to take a leave for a few hours instead for a full day.

This type of leave spans only for a specified time of a selected single day. Because of that, if user wants to take more than one hourly leave, there's a need to create multiple requests - one for each day of a desired leave (with desired hours selected). Moreover, it is not possible to request more than one hourly leave for a single day.

User then receive vacation hours (they are calculated as the difference between work hours for given day and hours selected for leave). However, if user already has some available vacation hours (they had taken some hourly leave before), their vacation hours are reduced first. So taking hourly leave does not always mean reducing user's vacation days.

To request hourly leave, you have to select date (1) and length (2). You can also select half of working day - which is 4 hours in the example (3), however it is different than half-day leave. It is just convenient way for picking half of hours of a given working day. As a result, it will still be treated as hourly request, not as a half-day one.

Add-on enables real-time checking and monitoring during taking a request. it also provides accurate calculations (4) of how much minutes/hours are to be used and how much free days/hours/minutes user is to be left with even before such request gets accepted by user's team manager.
