You can do it For example you can:

  1. Create Scheduled Issue with workflow trigger type and your desired issue type, source and target status.

2. Execute this Scheduled Issue to create Issue

  1. Change created issue status

  2. New Issue connected to the previously mentioned SI should be created.

  3. Newly created issue should contain a comment with proper selected author in settings.

You can set author of auto generated comments in two different ways and scopes:

Project settings:

1. Select your project
2. Go to project settings
3. Go to settings (at the bottom in ,,The Scheduler” section)
4. Now you can select proper author type using radio buttons. Selecting user option will show another select in which you can select your desired author.

Additionaly clicking ,,restore” will set author as anonymous.
