To create new issue, you need to fetch issues from some filter first. To get the metadata from projects
Click “Create“ button (1). Row for new issue will be created (2).
Alternative way of creating a new issue, is by entering a "#" sign in first column named "Key", it should be placed in first row without any data (3).
Be advised!
Please do not edit anything in a cell with "#" sign. After clicking "Send Issues" button, its content will be replaced with proper key value.
2. Fill all required fields and confirm issue creation by clicking Export (4) button.
3. To create issues in bulk just fill in first column with "#" signs, that would be converted to issues. The simplest way to do this is if you: move your mouse pointer over the right bottom corner of a cell with "#" sign and when cursor changes into a black cross, press left mouse button and drag it down (5):
4. When creating issues in bulk, it's possible to accidentally create more issues than needed. In this case, simply delete the value (#...) from the Key column to remove the unwanted issue. This will ensure that only the necessary issues are created.
Creating new issue without permission
It is impossible to create a new issue by a user who does not have permissions to proceed this action in Jira. In this case, when user clicks the "Create" button in EC365, then user will be informed about insufficient permission and the action will be blocked.
To unlock this functionality in EC365, please contact your Jira administrator and get proper permission.
