Dashboard Gadgets

Please note that in Cloud, Dashboard Gadgets are not supported.
Dashboard Gadgets are the new feature introduced in The Scheduler 6.13.0 that allows you to add Scheduler’s Upcoming Executions from selected projects to your Jira Dashboard. If you wish to learn more about Jira Dashboards and how to configure them, you can read about it here.
Setup and configuration:
To setup the gadget, first proceed to Add a gadget window in your Jira Dashboard (if do not have one yet, create it). Find the Upcoming Scheduled Issue Execution (1) gadget and proceed with Add gadget (2) button:
Please note, that the Add a gadget modal window does not close on itself once a gadget is added. After adding the gadget you will need to close the window manually.
Now, it is time to configure the Gadget (3). You can choose to Select Project (4) from drop down or use checkbox to Select All Projects (5). Below, you can Select timezone (6) and configure the Limit (7) of Upcoming Executions displayed in the Gadget. Once you have set it to your liking, proceed with Save (8).
Without saving the changes, the Dashboard Gadget will remain in its default editing state (same outcome when proceeding both with edit or cancel).
Please keep in mind, that the Select all projects (4) checkbox is only available to admin users
Finally, your new Gadget (9) is fully functional and displays following data: Execution time (10), Scheduled Job (11), Project (12) and Action (13). All jobs and projects listed can be easily accessed via links:
Similarities and differences between Gadget and Upcoming Executions Table:
While both features offer essentially the same functionality (to display Upcoming Executions of Scheduled Issues) there are some differences in how they can be used:
Limits - both features allow you to limit displayed Upcoming Executions by numbers, the Dashboard Gadget does not allow to limit by date (e.g. dd-mm-yyyy) Instead, you can either limit amount (14) of Scheduled Jobs to display or amount of days (15) in which displayed jobs are scheduled to execute:

To set the amount limit to numbers below 10 and above 500 your admin needs to change the The Scheduler Global Settings configuration.
Project selection:
Dashboard Gadget allows non-admin users to see Upcoming Executions of Scheduled Issues all in one place.
While admin users can easily access such data via Manage Scheduled Issues tab in Jira Administration section, non-admin users could only display Upcoming Executions for one project at once.
By combining Gadgets set to show data from different projects, regular users can now see them all in one place:
One project can be displayed in different configurations (different limits - by days or amount - and different timezones),
Admin users can display data from all projects,
All projects will be visible to the user via the Dashboard Gadget only if he has access to them
Timezone - for each gadget an individual timezone can be set. This means you can display Upcoming Executions from each project in different timezones which is not possible in the Upcoming Executions global table
Permissions:
To use the Gadget, users require regular set of Scheduler permissions described here in greater details: Permissions
Aside from that, non-admin users require browse project permission to access Upcoming Executions for each project. In case they lack such authorization, a sufficient prompt will be displayed:
Customization:
Each Gadget can be individually customized to differentiate between them easily. After clicking on the “…” icon in the top right corner of the Gadget, a customization menu will pop up, allowing you to change Gadget’s color as well as edit it’s settings:
