How to use The Scheduler (Server version) in your language?

The Scheduler is internationalized and you can add your own translations, it requires some help from your system administrator

Here is instruction how to do this: https://developer.atlassian.com/docs/common-coding-tasks/internationalising-your-plugin#Internationalisingyourplugin-TranslatinganExistingPlugin

With each app update you would need to add new updated translation file, as with new features we will add new labels or new warnings.

Please Note:

If you any of your translations use non-ASCII characters, which will include most languages other than English, then you must convert your text file to a Unicode-encoded ASCII text file using a tool such as native2ascii.

We are receiving request from user that they would like to use The Scheduler in their own language, and we are preparing some mechanism to include other translations.

In the meantime, we can build a package with translations for you, just follow this steps:

  1. Download translation file:
    v5.3.3 (current marketplace version):
    thescheduler_v533.properties
(Note original translation filename is thescheduler.properties we have added version to easily match it with app version)

  2. Translate words and sentences after "=" into your language

  3. Save file adding your country and language code e.g. for Polish translation new file name would be thescheduler_v521_pl_PL.properties
Here you can see the list of the country codes: http://www.i18nguy.com/unicode/language-identifiers.html

  4. Send us translated file at thescheduler@psc-software.atlassian.net

  5. Wait for reply message that new translated installer is ready
When your translated installer will be ready, it will be also available to the public in Downloads section

This is not the most efficient way of adding the translations, but this is something that we could do at that moment. We are hoping to improve it in the future
