Fixing issues after migration / update / upgrade to v6.4.0

Affects: migration to custom permissions, starting v6.4.0, Jira hosting: Server, Data Center

In version v6.4.0 we introduced custom permissions, we tested this but it seems that some customers are facing issues with their current permission which blocks app initialisation. There is a simple solution:

Logged as Jira Administrator

  1. Go to “Integrity checker” in system support section, then check option for checking duplicate permissions:

  2. Use fix action to solve problems

  3. Then uninstall and install The Scheduler again, check if app work - if it works great!

  4. If it doesn’t → then create a support request and send us fresh Jira logs ( https://psc-software.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCHED/pages/1442840577/How+to+gather+application+logs ), we will analyze it and figure out some new solutions (and update this page )
