We improved the feature allowing to create issues on issue transitions ( Workflow trigger type ). Now in execution history, you will be able to see which issue's transition (1) created new issue:
New feature is also status of created issues, now in execution history you can see current status of created issue (2) :
You can see it also in more broad execution history like in project execution history:
