In such case you won't see any information about cloned or not cloned groups.

During cloning operation, after going to "Groups" tab you may not spot anything here, despite user is a member of such. This happens because groups in Admin Tools for Jira are displayed during cloning only if they are already assigned to a particular project role in Jira itself. |
